Conversation 1

 Tourist:   What is Chaingmai famous for?                        

                 เชียงใหม่มีชื่อเสียงด้านใด

 You:        It’s famous for beautiful temples.            

                 มีชื่อเสียงด้านวัดที่สวยงาม

Tourist:    What are the tourist attractions in Chiangmai?

                สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในเชียงใหม่มีที่ไหนบ้าง

 You:       Doi Suthep, Phu Ping Palace, Hill Tribe Village etc.        

               ดอยสุเทพ  ตำหนักภูพิงค์ราชนิเวศน์

Tourist:   Are there any natural attractions in your province?

               มีถานที่ท่องเที่ยวทางธรรมชาติในจังหวัดของคุณไหม

  You:    Of course. I’d recommend bamboo rafting at Mae Tang.

              มีค่ะ   อยากแนะนำให้คุณไปล่องแพไม้ไผ่ที่แม่แตง

Tourist:  What else is interesting in your province?

               ช่วยบอกสถานที่น่าเที่ยวในจังหวัดของคุณ

You:       You should visit the beautiful temple on Doi Suthep.   

               คุณควรไปเที่ยววัดพระธาตุดอยสุเทพ

Conversation 2

You:    What would you like to see?           

              คุณต้องการไปชมอะไร                                    

Tourist: Mm, I’d really like to see some of the temples on the river.

             อืม.  ฉัน / ผม อยากเห็นวัดที่อยู่ริมแม่น้ำมากเลย

You:    Oh, I think I know just the place, the Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun. 

              โอ, ฉันคิดว่าฉันรู้จักอยู่วัดหนึ่ง  วัดอรุณราชวราราม

Tourist: Can we catch a boat there.                                       เรานั่งเรือไปได้ไหม

You:    Yes of course. Come with me.                                ได้ซิ   งั้นไปด้วยกันเลย

Conversation 3

Tourist: Do you know a good place to see classical Thai dancing? 

              คุณรู้จักที่ที่แสดงรำไทยดี ๆ ไหม

You:    Oh, there a couple of restaurants which have dinner shows or there is one theatre.

             มีภัตตาคารอยู่สองสามแห่งที่มีการแสดงพร้อมอาหารเย็น   หรือ จะไปที่โรงละคร

Tourist: Mm, I think a dinner show would be best.

              อืม.. คิดว่าที่ภัตตาคารพร้อมอาหารเย็นน่าจะดี

You:    OK, well one restaurant is near the river but it is 800 baht.

              ตกลง   มีภัตตาคารริมน้ำแห่งหนึ่ง แต่ราคาประมาณ 800 บาท

Tourist: And the other place.

              มีที่อื่น ๆ อีกไหม

You:    It is next to the university and 500 baht.

              มีถัดจากมหาวิทยาลัย และราคา 500 บาท

Conversation 4

Tourist: Can you recommend any nice national parks?               ช่วยแนะนำอุทยานแห่งชาติที่น่าเที่ยว

You:    Well, are you interested in seeing mountains, or beach. คุณสนใจไปเที่ยวภูเขา หรือว่าชายทะเล

Tourist: Mm, the beach would be nice.                                              ชายทะเลน่าจะดี

You: Well, Thailand has many nice islands.                                 เออ, ประเทศไทยมีเกาะที่น่าเที่ยวหลายแห่ง

Tourist: Are any close to Bangkok?                                              อยู่ใกล้กรุงเทพไหม

You: Yes, you could try Ko Samet.                                               ใช่  คุณน่าไปเที่ยวเกาะเสม็ด
